B is For Black Wealth Is Essential!

"B for Black Wealth" is an essential book for families and schools. It's an encyclopedia and it defines money and finance and connects it to individual prosperity and thriving black communities. Financial literacy for our youth is also essential for their success as much as reading.

This book is a treasure! My children are so into it and it breaks down financial concepts down to the simplest form. I’m on my 3rd purchase, I give them as baby shower or birthday gifts. Highly recommend

It is so important and powerful because it means that as black people we can have money too.

We had to get this book. Because we felt we needed to teach our family to understand about money what we learned at an later age in life. And to be honest we are still learning as adults. We have to be able to give the youth a leg up in wealth and this book does that.

Not Just For Kids

B is for Black Wealth is subtitled as a children’s encyclopedia; but it is valuable for those of all ages. The layout makes complex ideas understandable and accessible. Encompassing more than monetary wealth, this little gem of a book goes far beyond a reference for business and finance. It delves into the broader meaning of wealth to explore the wealth found in the cultures and traditions of those from the African Diaspora. The colorful and lively illustrations not only add to the understanding of complex concepts put forth in the book, but also beautifully portray Black joy! This little treasure of a book is one to be savored, read, reread, and discussed as a family. It is a clear and concise guidebook which can be used as a jumping off point for creating long-overdue generational wealth in the Black community.
